For the guys comp the weather didn't change much. During the qualifiers the snow was coming down hard. It calmed down a bit for finals but it was still snowing. Respect to all the dudes who were anyways throwing down some impressive tricks! Charles Reid was riding really well throughout the whole event but the judges didn't honor his tech rail tricks. You don't need much knowledge about jibbing to see that a front board on a box should get way less points than a hard way - backside 270° on a double kink..but who am I to tell them how to judge.. Well, in the end everything turned out how it should and I think the best run won. Mark's winning run was a back double cork 1260° to hard way cab 270° on the double kink. Congrats buddy!
