Chans killing it!

Had to add these two shots I just got from my buddy Chans. He was hanging with us in Flachauwinkl on Saturday and took these photos while me and Maurer rode this obstacle!

Absolute fun times in Flachauwinkl!

This past week we had the Burton team week in Flachauwinkl. Almost all the euro team was there. The resort had already closed the week before so the park crew was able to work on some obstacles for us. The first few days were really productiv and we rode a lot. After that the weather got warm and the snow got super slushy and slow so it was really hard to get speed for the jumps but the team of course killed it anyways! haha.. There is the "Chillhouse" right up at the mountain with a really good spine miniramp and a climbing wall so we did a bunch of that too. I think everybody was having such a good time there so thanks to Seppi, the park crew, Hasi, Cyril and Steffi for making it happen! eeöööhhh

Sölden airtime

After me and Maurer returned from our adventures trip in Kamchatka we only had a day to chill before we went to Sölden to hit a big park jump. I've been going there for the last two years for that jump session and it was always good so I was looking forward to ride that booter. Werni Stock was with us as well. Speed was a bit of an issue since it had snowed the day before but after a while we got it dialed and it turned out to be a fun shred day. Werni was killing it until he came up short once and hit the knuckle. He will be sleeping on his stomach for some time but luckily other than that everything is alright. We tried to film the jump afterwards with the paraglider but the weather turned bad on us. We'll go back as soon as the sun comes out for us!

From Russia with love!

Finally I had some time to post some photos from my adventurous trip to Kamchatka. The trip started off kinda crazy. The same day I arrived in Moscow some terrorist blew himself up at a subway station and on the flight there homie next to me polished one liter of fine cognac in less than two hours.. After my buddy Dimi from Russia picked me up at the airport we hooked up with the rest of the crew which was Terje, Svein, Fredi, Mu, Brusti, JP, Sami, Adam, Tim, Peetu, Andrew and Balu. We of course went for a little strawl through the city and of course it ended up in some club. The next day we flew to Kamchatka. The flight from Moscow took us another 9 hours! The following 10 days we went shredding every single day, 5 days heli, 5 days with sleds. For me it was actually the first time flying in a heli so I was super excited. The one we used looked like a big bus with a rotor. Since we were such a big crew it took us always forever to do one run which sucked cause most of the time the wind was blasting and it was so fucking cold but other than that it was super fun! The stuff we did was mostly short lines and powder sprays.
Next to snowboarding we did a lot of hanging in the pool and eating. I ate so much smoked salmon that I can easily live without it for a few months. The people there took really well take care of us. For sure good times and a good laugh! Thanks to Balu and Andrew!
