Last week the Atlantic Cup went down in Anglet, FRA. Snowboard pros and people from the industry gathered for a three day soccer tournament. Seven teams from all over showed up. Austria, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Spain, England and a rest of the world team consisting of players from the US, Scandinavia, Greece, Scotland and Germany. Even though I got hurt two weeks before while practicing for the cup, I of course joined the team to at least support them mentally and go surf a bit. I actually went into the goal for a few games since we didn't have any substitutes. I would say that was the main issue why we only got 6th. If we only had a few more players..haha! After the first day I thought that Spain would make it but the tricolore showed them what's up and knocked them in the semis out! The other game for the final was England against Switzerland where the cheese loving swiss advanced so finals were set. After a tough thirty minute match it was still draw so the finals went on to penalties where France won! What a great week!
The opening and the price giving were held at Lupo's and Kiwi's new joint the "Beach House" at Chambre d'Amour, Anglet. Great place to hang and very good food as well!

The same day it was Netherlands against Germany in the Euro Cup so Cheryl and her lovely daughter Lara dressed accordingly for the occasion.
