The weather got a bit better the last days but still no snow so we've been trying to be creative with what we have to work with. We definitely had some fun days up in the resort. The Banked Slalom qualifiers are tomorrow. Pretty excited about that! Maurer and I are of course going for gold.

Since we left Whistler 4 days ago it's been raining and bad weather here at Mt.Baker. The snow conditions ain't that hot either but we've been trying to do our best and we definitely managed to get some shots. The lifestyle is pretty laid back here, quite the opposite of Whistler. One bar, two restaurants and that's it.. Different but I like it.

Me, Maurer, Pleasure mags Bachi and Fischi have been in Whistler now for a couple of days. We had some good days in the resort and we went catboarding yesterday. The snow was actually pretty good, could be more though. Thanx to Ken and Fabia.

"Riding with Gigi and Friends"

Here is some photos from last weekend at Gigi's home resort Diedamskopf where we (Gigi, Jake Price and me) spend a whole day riding with 24 kids from around the area. The event was organized by Gigi and the Sajas park crew. It was super fun to hang out and shred with all the motivated kids. They were able to ask us questions about tricks or whatever they were intrested in about snowboarding. At the end of the day we premiered the 3 most impressive riders and Gigi gave out some goodie and sticker packs.

Last weekend I went to the Euro-Open in Laax. It was really cool to watch a pipe comp since it's been a while I had seen one live. Pipe riding got so gnarly! My shoulder is still hurting a bit so the only thing I had to do there was some TV stuff and hanging out in the beautiful weather. Awesome!

People kept telling me that I was around all week although I wasn't even there..

Today was the semi-finals slopestyle at the burton euro open. Obviously the light was pretty flat so the course wasn't easy to ride. I don't wanna be dissing those who didn't make it into the finals like Grilo, Sörman or Kimmi but Maurer was riding a Fish and he made it! hmmm...

I just watched that Evolution Pro contest in Davos on freecaster and Grilo was riding so good again! He basically schooled all those other dudes! Congrats buddy!!
