CYRIL PHOTOGRAPHY
Cyril is the Burton-Europe inhouse photog but he'll be quitting his job by the end of this month. Him and his girlfriend decided to travel the world and just surf for a while. I'm bummed he is leaving cause he's not only a good photog but over the last years he became a good friend too. Well anyways, this is his website and I'm stoked he used a shot of me as the opener.

Pirates Intro Shoot
A few days before I left to Bali we had the Pirates intro shoot for their new video "Hooked". It was in a old castle somewhere in Salzburg. Almost all the Riders who filmed for it this season were there. We were all dressed up as pirates. It was super fun!

Me vs. KUTA
I spent the last 4 weeks in Bali. It was the 4th time I went there. If you wanna surf good quality waves around this time of the year Indo is the place to be. The people there are so nice and everything is super cheap. I like that place a lot! Though this trip was for sure the worst one out of four. I planed to travel and check out some other islands around Bali but unfortunately we ended up having pretty much every sickness or disease there was in our house. It was constantly a few people sick so we couldn't leave and I ended up just staying on Bali. If I hadn't been there before it wouldn't have been a big deal but just being around Kuta for 4 weeks was a bit too much. The traffic is crazy these days and the breaks are super crowded. Nevertheless I had a good time!
