my travelogue: Air and Style and Freeze!

Another year, another Air & Style at Bergisel and another great show! That stadium is probably the best venue you can hold a big air at! The jump wasn't that big since there is not enough space to build it bigger but the fact that the crowd is all around and so close makes the atmosphere just amazing. Even though it was freezing cold (-15°C!) or maybe due to that fact that you had to keep moving to keep yourself warm, the crowd of 12000 people was going off throughout the whole event! The snowboarding was of course off the hook as well! The three winning tricks were two 1260's and a perfect front double cork 1080°! Although, it is kind of funny that a couple years back David Benedek already did frontside double cork 1260°s! He'd probably still have a chance to win with that trick..

Anyways congrats to the snowboard machines Peetu Piiroinen and Seppe Smits, very well done!
