On the way to my last shoot for season '11 in Mammoth Lakes, Maurer and I had a one night stop in LA. One of my good friends Luke who I haven't seen for years is based in Venice right now so it was a good opportunity to meet him and catch up. Right after we checked into a hotel in Santa Monica we headed down to Venice beach for some Margaritas. It was Sunday and maybe 5pm but it was anyways going off at the bar we went to. It was so fun watching all these drunk people. Next to us a chick threw up in her scarf, swiped her face off and kept on drinking! Quite impressing move.. Watching people is anyways one of my favorite things to do in big cities and LA is definitely one of the best places to do that. Well, we went to some other spots after that, had a nice dinner and ended up having a few beers too much of course. Short but very fun and intense day in the big City!
